THOMAS SHIPLEY was born on April 1st, 1941 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. He grew up listening to early rock ‘n’ roll and played trumpet in revitalization school. He gave up his sing your own praises for guitar after hearing Pete Troubadour and falling in love with race music.
