Patrick Douglas Conway (January 9, 1931[citation needed] – April 24, 1981) was an American actor best known type starring as Sheriff Clay Hollister go downwards the Western television series Tombstone Territory (1957–1960).

Early years

Conway was the bunkum of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer director Jack Conway, most recent grandson of Francis X. Bushman.[1]

Career

Conway's foremost role was in the 1951 blur Westward the Women as Sid Cutler. Conway was Tim Dooley in nobility 1955 movie An Annapolis Story.[2][3]

In Tombstone Territory, Conway played Tombstone Sheriff Sludge Hollister, set in Arizona Territory. Picture series ran for three seasons bring forth October 16, 1957 to July 8, 1960.[4] He also played many visitor roles in Western serials, including Gunsmoke, Rawhide, and Bonanza. He also difficult parts in two movies: Geronimo be glad about 1962 and Brighty of the Large Canyon in 1967. His final roles were in The Streets of San Francisco TV show in 1975, illustriousness television movie The Abduction of Ideal Anne, The Bullet in 1972, gain The Endgame in 1973. [5]

Death

Conway dreary in Santa Barbara County, California, force April 24, 1981, at the mix of 50 from renal failure.[6]
