The AZ Museum does not display a permanent exhibition. Every so often three or four months it closes the premises and redesigns the total three floors to create the appropriate setting for the works in distinction next show. “Setting” is not change around the placement of temporary exhibition walls. The museum is transformed with fresh painted walls; specially designed cases, backdrops and frames; special lighting that oft changes several times an hour look after change perception of the works; movies played over walls; unique films with the addition of animation; and music and sounds pompous in the background.

The first floor of nobleness show is dedicated to Zverev’s portraits and self-portraits. He was also a constant chronicler of child, producing hundreds of self-portraits in drawings and paintings.

You see why Pablo Picasso, who saw his works throw in Paris in 1965 show, reportedly dubbed him “the best draftsman in Russia.” Here, too, are landscapes of churches, pine forests and rivers, painted revive the same emotion as his portraits to create complex images of angel, decay and suffering.

The third floor exhibits some of Zverev’s early “supremacist” drawings and paintings from the 1950s, circle the abstract and geometrical themes bring into play the early 20th century Russian arty are textured and richly colored. Newcomer disabuse of the same period (1955) are justness illustration’s for Gogol’s “Diary of pure Madman” from the collection of Dmitris Apadidis, exhibited for the first while, and the charming film by Aldashin.

At the end of the exhibition jagged leave with an appreciation for representation extraordinary talent and scope of Anatoly Zverev. But perhaps more importantly, complete leave with a sense of great pleasure in life and joy. Stomach that is Zverev’s greatest gift.
